In front of the library's main building, there is a parking area with two spaces designated for people with disabilities.
The main entrance to the building is from Kosynierów Gdyńskich Street. The surface in front of the entrance is made of stone paving (with an uneven texture), which may pose difficulties for people using wheelchairs, crutches, or walkers. Access to the building is provided by automatic doors. The corridor and lobby offer convenient conditions for communication and free movement for people with disabilities. The building has two panoramic elevators that allow free movement on all publicly accessible floors.
Tactile guiding paths are installed on the ground floor – leading from the main entrance to the Information Centre and from the main entrance to the Integration and Activity Centre.
The stairs of the main staircase are fitted with contrasting, non-slip stair strips. Warning strips are placed at the beginning and end of the stairs. Handrails are equipped with overlays containing Braille inscriptions indicating which floor the stairs lead to.
Tactile maps are installed on the ground floor near the main entrance, as well as on the first and second floors. On the doors of the lending departments, offices, toilets, and other publicly accessible rooms, Braille plates with NFC chips or raised pictograms with Braille have been affixed.
